The RSF Attack Boys 2002 Academy soccer team won the CalSouth National Championship and is traveling to Boise, Idaho for the Far West Regional Championships hosted by US Youth Soccer. The Academy team, coached by Darren Parker, won 6 games in a row and became national champions. In their first 3 bracket games, they scored 14 goals and won 2 of the games in shut-outs. Only 3 goals were scored during the entire tournament. In both the semi-finals and the final, the games ended in a draw, with the team playing 90 minutes and then doing 30-minute extra time and eventually winning on penalties.

In the Far West Regionals, the team faces competition from surrounding states such as Arizona, Oregon, Washington, Utah, Colorado and Nevada. If they win this competition, they will represent RSF Attack and CalSouth in the national championship, which will be held in Sarasota, Florida, in July.

RSF Attack is a community-based youth soccer league that offers both recreational and competitive soccer teams, camps and training courses for young soccer players ages 4 to 18 at all levels.
