With three more Concacaf World Cup qualifiers on the schedule, USMNT coach Gregg Berhalter has named 27 players for the squad for October 2021. The USMNT plays Jamaica in Austin on October 7th (7:45 pm ET – ESPN2), Panama on 10am (6pm ET – Paramount +) and Costa Rica in Columbus on October 13th (7pm ET – ESPN2). The US ended the September window in a draw against El Salvador and Canada with a win over Honduras. You enter the second qualification window in 3rd place, tied with 2nd place Canada and 4th place Panama.
“We are excited to bring the group back together for this next round of World Cup qualification,” said Berhalter in the press release on the squad’s announcement. “This roster represents a diverse group of talent and we have to rely on each and every team member to navigate these three games. Our focus now is on Jamaica and on winning this game. “
